Lakshya for Future, in collaboration with the Excise Department, successfully organized a focused Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign at Ambalappuzha High School. The initiative was designed to sensitize students about the risks of substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle from an early age.

A key highlight of the event was the awareness class led by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Alappuzha, alongside other senior officials from the department. The session offered vital insights into the psychological, legal, and social consequences of drug use. The speakers encouraged students to stay informed, seek support when needed, and actively resist peer pressure.

To ensure lasting impact, a specially designed awareness board was handed over to the school principal by our president during the event. The board includes emergency contact numbers and free counselling helpline information and was UV-printed on durable multiwood, making it both weather-resistant and environmentally sustainable. It was placed in a prominent area within the school premises for easy visibility and continued reference by students.

The campaign received widespread media attention, with several popular media outlets featuring and appreciating the initiative. The recognition further highlights the significance of collective action in addressing social challenges and the growing role of youth-led organizations like Lakshya for Future in driving positive change.
